The routes take in the magnificent views at the summit of Kit Hill, the peaceful Danescombe Valley, the curious relics of Gunnislake Clitters and the colour of Bohetherick’s market gardening heritage. Following existing and improved footpaths and rights-of-way, the journeys take you through some of the most beautiful parts of the valley, abundant with wildlife, history and cultural heritage.
The walks are printed on weatherproof paper held in a handy folder, so all you have to do is select the walk you'd like to do and take that with you, leaving the bulk at home for next time!
There are also additional pages featuring wonderful descriptions to the industrial and natural history of the Tamar Valley secured within the folder.
They are available from the Tamar Valley Centre at £5.95 per pack, or can be ordered by sending a cheque made payable to Cornwall Council to the Tamar Valley Centre, Cemetery Road, Drakewalls, Cornwall, PL18 9FE. Please send a stamped, addressed envelope for us to return your pack: ideally A4 packet with £1.30 worth of postage.
