Sustainable Development Fund 2010-11
The Tamar Valley AONB is now welcoming applications for small grants under its Sustainable Development Fund (SDF).
Applications will be invited from community organisations or individuals for projects that will enhance the sustainable management of the landscapes and communities of the AONB. Successful past projects have been very varied and have included help towards managing wildlife sites, grants to help to set up local food schemes, and training days for farmers in renewable energy.
The fund pays a grant of up to 50% funding towards local authority and business sponsored projects and 75% for voluntary or ‘not for profit’ projects.
Unfortunately, funds are limited this year, so there will be a limit of £2,000 on applications, and competition for funds will be intense.
Please read the guidance notes and speak to us before you submit your application to see if your project might be eligible, to save a wasted application.
You may download the form and guidance notes below.
All applications must be received by post or email by the closing date 28th June 2010
